LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

Hello loves! Welcome to the Claire Mariah – Lifestyle Blog. I’m Claire, the heart and vision behind the blog – seeking beauty, simplicity, and joy in everyday living. I’ve always been a dreamer, an encourager, a creator and a celebrator. I believe that I was put on the earth to find and create beauty. My life’s anthem is ‘open hands, open hearts,’ and I am constantly in awe of the grace of Jesus.

I’m happily married to my best friend, Nate. We will be are celebrating our five-year anniversary in June of 2020. Nate is graduating with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May of 2020 and I can’t wait to watch him chase after his dreams and begin his ministry as a Physical Therapist. He is simply the best – always encouraging me to chase after my dreams, leading our family with a heart for the Lord, and is filled with constant kindness, patience, and contentment in whatever life brings.

We are expecting our first child in August of 2020, and absolutely overjoyed to begin the journey of parenthood. We have been praying for this sweet babe for the last five years, and can’t wait to finally meet them this summer. For the past five years, I have loved every second of my career as a Kindergarten Teacher, seeking to pour out love and joy on every student. I also own a wedding and lifestyle photography business, Claire Murray Photography, where I seek to seek to spread kindness, celebrate joy, serve with grace, and deliver light, airy, and romantic images to my clients. Finally, I am overjoyed to begin this lifestyle blog!

Over the past few years, I have been dreaming up the Claire Mariah – Lifestyle Blog as a platform to inspire, celebrate, and find beauty in the simplicity of life. I am passionate about falling in love with every ounce of this life we’ve been given and dream of sharing light and airy images of the extravagant, the ordinary, and every moment in between. Finally, here are a few things that brings me joy – kisses from our sweet cockapoo, a day filled with sunshine, all the baby snuggles, walks around Lake Harriet, worshipping to Bethel Music, a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon, a home filled with fresh flowers, the perfect charcuterie, coffee dates with girlfriends, and gathering around the table.
