✨ 33 ✨ Thank you for all the birthday messages, l ✨ 33 ✨

Thank you for all the birthday messages, love, and sweetest celebrations this week—my heart is wrapped up in the love of Jesus, and I couldn’t be more grateful for every ounce of your kindness and thoughtfulness.

This birthday has felt like one lived in the messy middle—a year overflowing with joy, beauty, and abundance, yet steeped in wondering, waiting, and pressing into the heart of God.

As I prayed about how to reflect on this year and what the Lord was calling me to share, He kept pressing the same phrase on my heart: “Keep sharing the miracles in the messy middle.”

Even as joy and grief have continued to coexist, I’ve witnessed miracle upon miracle in the middle of our story—the constant covering of His grace, the promise of joy in the midst of pain, and the unshakable hope of heaven to come.

As I look back on the hardest year of my life, my heart still feels “messy,” longing to know how our story will unfold. Yet His grace remains the constant—He keeps moving toward me in the mess. In His kindness, He continues shepherding my soul into the riches of His grace (Hebrews 4:16).

In a year marked by deep pain, I’ve been overwhelmed by His beautiful invitation to exchange sorrow for nearness—because as we draw near, even with wavering trust, His presence becomes our joy. I’m learning what it means to truly take joy in the Lord and to “rejoice in the hope of the glory of God” (Romans 5:2)—the kind of joy found in His presence, the kind the enemy can never take away (Psalm 16:11).

And the greatest miracle I’ve come to hold is the hope of heaven. While our hearts ache for answered prayers on this side of eternity, every promise of God is “yes and amen” in the world to come (Revelation 21:4–5).

Through everything this year has brought, heaven feels more real than ever. It’s the hope we’re waiting for—the confident assurance of future good that is our inheritance to come.

The truth is, this side of heaven will always be our “middle.” Yet even here, I’ve been continually reminded of God’s goodness and faithfulness—that even when we can’t see it, He’s always doing something, because we serve the God of miracles.

To the mother who’s in a season that doesn’t feel To the mother who’s in a season that doesn’t feel like worship… this is for you. 🤍

Sometimes worship looks less like hands raised high in a sanctuary—
and more like hands scrubbing dishes, wiping tears, and rocking little ones to sleep.

The truth is, most of our mothering doesn’t feel like worship.
But maybe that’s exactly what God is showing us—
that worship isn’t about what we feel, it’s about who He is.

Every small act of love, every whispered prayer, every moment you choose grace over frustration—
it’s all worship.
These unseen offerings are the fragrance of your heart poured out before the Lord.

Even here, in the mess and mundane, He is worthy.
Even now, you have a reason to sing.

So mama, keep going.
Your everyday obedience is your worship.
And heaven sees the beauty of it all.

“Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name;
bring an offering, and come into His courts!
Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness.”
— Psalm 96:8–9

🤍 Save this for the days it doesn’t feel like worship.

The sweetest days with my honey — the ones I never The sweetest days with my honey — the ones I never want to forget. 🍯

Today was one of those really sweet days, amidst the autumn leaves gently falling from the trees — the kind that remind you, again and again, of the miracle that motherhood is.

Being your mama is the greatest joy of my life, sweet boy. Here’s to the best years of my life with you, and all the years still to come.

I love you more than you’ll ever know. What an honor it is to be your mama. These are the good old days I’ll never forget. 🤍
Our goal is not discipline that leads to obedience Our goal is not discipline that leads to obedience, but discipleship that connects to the heart. 🤍

As I’ve walked through the years of motherhood—filled with learning, growing, reminding, and boundary setting—my prayers have continued to lead my heart back to this truth:

It’s all about connection.

From the very beginning, God modeled perfect parenthood for us.
His commands weren’t about control, but about connection.

When sin created disconnection, God made a way for relationship to remain forever—through Jesus Christ.

The cross is our ultimate picture of connection. Jesus took our place so that we could be restored to the Father.

May we be the mamas who mother from this lens:
It’s all about connection.

While my desire may be for my child’s obedience,
their deepest need is for connection—because we were made for it.

Connection is the catalyst for true heart change in our children.

As we partner with Christ, and allow the Holy Spirit to mother through our hearts as mamas, may we move from disciplining the what to discipling the who, trusting that God will bring lasting change through His love.

It’s all about connection. 🤍
